We are adding fun events all the time for your family to meet and connect with other families who also have suffered a loss. We WELCOME you and your children to join us for fun-filled experiences!

We sure have come a long way from our humble beginnings in 2013 with just 25 people in attendance at the HOPE FAMILY FUN FESTIVAL!
Our goal is to continue hosting the Hope Family Fun Festival for free, and adding some new
events throughout the year. We would love to hear from you and welcome your suggestions and feedback both on the
festival and/or future events.

Our Community Attendance & Cancellation Policy
At Hope for Grieving Families, all of our events are offered free of charge to support you and your family on your journey. Because many of our activities—such as sporting events, theater performances, and special outings—require reserved tickets or limited spots, managing attendance helps us serve as many families as possible.
We are adding fun events all the time for your family to meet and connect with other families who also have suffered a loss. We WELCOME you and your children to join us for fun-filled experiences!

Our Community Attendance & Cancellation Policy
At Hope for Grieving Families, all of our events are offered free of charge to support you and your family on your journey. Because many of our activities—such as sporting events, theater performances, and special outings—require reserved tickets or limited spots, managing attendance helps us serve as many families as possible.
- Life Happens & Plans Change: We completely understand that grief, illness, family emergencies, or simply tough days come up. If you are unable to attend, please let us know as early as possible so we can offer your spot to another waiting family. Ideally, at least 24-48 hours in advance so we have the time to offer your spot to another family.
- Respecting Community Resources: Venues and ticket partners generously provide access based on our attendance numbers. When reserved spots go unused without notice, it impacts our relationships with these partners and prevents other grieving families from participating.
- Attendance Policy: If a family experiences 2 unexcused "no-shows" (absences without prior notice), they will be temporarily paused from registering for upcoming events for 6 months.
- Excused Absences: Illness, personal/grief emergencies, or unexpected conflicts where you give us prior notice (even a last-minute text).
- Unexcused No-Shows: Missing an event without giving advance notice, or deciding not to attend without letting our team know beforehand so we can reassign your ticket.
